The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a quiet offseason when it comes to signing free agents, but they were able to make a significant addition via trade. Of course, that addition was made last season when the team decided to acquire suspended receiver Calvin Ridley from the Atlanta Falcons.

With the 2023 offseason now here, the former Crimson Tide receiver was reinstated to the NFL early last month from a 2021 gambling incident, and he's wasted very little time getting acclimated with his new quarterback. The two have already started putting together throwing sessions, and thanks to photographer Aaron Berkshire, we have footage of their first one.

Jags fans were already excited about Ridley's addition and how he would help Trevor Lawrence elevate his game after he had a Pro Bowl season in 2022. However, Berkshire's video will only add to their anticipation.

After a rough rookie season, Lawrence improved tremendously during the 2022 season, completing 66.3% of his passes (387-of-584) for 4,113 yards and 25 touchdowns. As a result, the Jags finished the season ranked 10th in passing yards averaged with a 233.5 figure.

That said, if they get the same version of Ridley we saw in 2020 (had a career-high of 1,374 yards), or anything close, the Jags offense could inch closer to being a top-5 or better.
